Some people come to Whistler just for the nightlife. However, for those of us who do participate in mountain sports, there's nothing better then coming off the hill after a full day of riding and chilling on one of the après patios under the sun with a cold beer in hand. This is where the stories of the day are rehashed, where friends are met and where empty bellies are filled. Whistler has a variety of different locations - it's as simple as taking off your skis or board, walking ten feet, and sitting down. You can't miss them. Après is a great place to spend a few hours between riding and going out on the town. Clubs typically open at 10pm and close at 2am. Season It Accommodations is pleased to be working with the best Apres bar in Whistler - The Garibalidi Lift Co. (or GLC for short). The GLC is located right at the base of Whistler Mountain and is the best place in town for Apres! Enjoy great food and drinks whilst takin in the action on there sun soaked patios or comfy couches. WHISTLERS DRINKING LAWS

The legal drinking age is 19 , and two pieces of ID is required - one must be government issued (e.g. drivers license, passport or birth certificate). Doormen are strict about this rule, so it's always best to carry ID with you - you never know where the night may take you. Each club has it's own image along with it's best night to be there. And remember to tip your server or bartender! note: Smoking is banned in any bar and club in Whistler so all smoking is outside only- what better excuse to quit! A beer on average will cost you about $5 (£2). Night Clubs stay open till 2am while regular bars stay open till 1am. Here are some of our favourite spots...

TOMMY AFRICAS (Night Club)

Monday nights at Tommy's is 80's night. It always goes off so be there early and don't forget your 80's gear. Tuesday is 90's night which was equally as popular this season. Weekends are alwasy busy and they have some of the hottest bar staff in town!

GARFINKELS (Night Club)

Thursday night at Garf's is a night not to be missed - it's local's night. Party with the rest of the 'season locals ' All your favorite tunes will be played and it's a great place to meet some long time locals. Drum and Bass fills the air on Tuesday nights as local DJ's throw down.

THE SAVAGE BEAGLE (Night Club)

MAXX FISH (Night Club)

Appealing to a slightly older crowd (25+) and the majority of Whistlers seasonal population. Check it out on the weekends and Wednesay nights..

MOJOS (Night Club)

MoJo's is the place to be to check out a variety of local bands and Dj's. It's a good place to check out the local talent both on and off the stage!.

BUFFALO BILLS (Night Club)

Reinvented last year as not just the bar where you can get picked up by a Cougar (A Cougar is a Canadian term for a 30+women who likes picking up 18yr+boys) Wednesday night is the insanely popular locals/industry night. Get there early to get in!

CITTAS

Another very popular Apres bar due to its large people watching patio! Start your night here before heading to the clubs.

THE AMSTERDAM

A popular Apres bar with patio seating and a good bar to start out or end the night with! Good looking barmaids come as standard!

THE CRYSTAL LOUNGE

The local hangout for the season working population of Whistler. Sunday nights are open mic, Mondays are kareokee. Cheap beer ($13 a jug) and good times. The Crystal is a local favourite.

THE CINNAMON BEAR

Located in the basement of the Hilton Hotel at the base of the mountains, the Bear offers 2 large pool tables and some comfortable lounge seating. A nice bar for a more relaxed evening.

THE LONGHORN

Large patio seating right at the base of the mountains. A great spot to grab some Apres food and drink.

21 STEPS

A little off the beaten track as far as party bars go but 21 Steps has probably the nicest lounge bar in Whistler. Located on the very top floor you'll find a great little lounge bar complete with large leather couches and big flat screen TV's. Chat, enjoy or get lost in space watching the years new ski and snowboard movies! A must stop for anyones season, a personal favourite.

THE GLC

Right at the base of Whistler. Voted the best Apres abr year after year. Enjoy 15% off one of the best food menus in town when you book with Season It Accommodations.

MERLINS

At the base of Blackcomb mountain lies Merlins. A great Apres bar with drink specials and their world famous plate of Nachos! Go see Richie, the bartender who'll be more than happy to put the Premiership football (Sundays) on the TV's for you!

DUSTYS

Located at Whistler, Creekside this bar is worth a lunchtime stop whilst you ski the hill. Live bands, good food, its down in Creekside but worth the bus ride home!

TAPLEYS

A local s bar with lots of TV's for any sporting events, including the English Premiership!

DUBH LINN GATE Irish Pub

A nice traditional pub style environment with good food and a great selection of beers from around the world. Enjoy a pint of Guinness while you listen to live music. Be warned, though this is one of Whistlers most expensive pubs!			www.dubhlinngate.com
