Whistler is packed with good places to eat. And there's lots of variety too - from Japanese to Mongolian, Italian to Chinese, Mexican to West Coast, and casual to fine. Eateries range from somewhere to get a quick bite to eat or a several course meal. A quick bite can go for less than $10 (£4); a gourmet meal at one of Whistler's finest establishments will cost about $100 (£40), not including drinks.

Fine dining, west coast style. One of Whistler oldest and finest restaurants. The Rimrock is a firm favourite with both locals and visitors. It is the place for fish and game and has collected numerous awards. 3 courses and wine for 2 people will easily take you into $200. For that special occassion the Rimrock is worth the cost.

Whistler is also home to a McDonalds ($10/couple) and Dominos Pizza ($20/couple) who deliver. There is also a delivery dining service which basically covers all of Whistlers take away food places and will deliver to your door for $5. Perfect for those nights in when you don't want to cook.

When you are not eating out the best place to get your groceries is either the IGA, located in the Marketplace in the village, or at Nesters, which is located slightly outside of the village, but which tends to be cheaper and friendlier.
